Job responsibilities

  • Help employees of clients prevent musculoskeletal injuries, repetitive stress injuries, and accidents in an industrial setting
  • Provide first-aid, physical education, and escalation of care if/when needed
  • Assist employees in achieving lifestyle improvements in areas such as nutritional health, physical fitness, and stress management
  • Conduct ergonomic analyses to provide recommendations on work posture and biomechanics, tool use, and workstation modifications
  • Support injured employees, monitor their medical care, promote accurate and timely reporting, and participate in accident investigations
  • Develop job-specific drills, routines, and/or programs to train proper biomechanics and condition employees to the demands of the job (Work Hardening)
  • Leverage proprietary and commercial technology to maintain standards of care and communication of services

Requirements

  • Licensed within the State as an Athletic Trainer or eligible for licensure
  • Ability to work independently while making decisions in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Take initiative on solving issues that arise daily
  • Must have the ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
  • Requires regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
