I really enjoy being part of the process of setting up the clinic, helping design the layout, and promoting the clinic. There is a gratification that you get from building up a community of patients from the ground up. Even though I am no longer a part of [my original clinic] directly, I enjoy watching that clinic continue to grow from afar. I enjoy “owning” my 4 walls and being able to be a part of all the decisions that take place.

I am appreciative of the support and camaraderie at Advent. There is a strong sense of team and dedication to our values. I have worked for both small “mom and pop” clinics and large corporate entities. Alliance has been the sweet spot in between these two, with the benefits that both of these business models have to offer. I feel listened to, I feel appreciated, I feel respected. The team at Advent and Alliance is what keeps me motivated on the daily!

Excel still treats patients the right way. They are not a commodity. We spend time with our patients. We address their physical concerns by getting to know them.

I have always said SSOR’s culture and atmosphere is what makes us so well liked by patients and clinicians alike. The supportive and collaborative culture has played a big role in my career growth and development. Being surrounded by a team that values learning, collaboration, and mutual respect has pushed me to improve both personally and professionally.

The leadership pathway really assisted in shaping me into being an empathetic and effective leader. In the CORE program, I learned the ins and outs of clinic metrics and improving rapport/alliance with patients and my staff, and gained the confidence to navigate conflicts and set expectations with my staff. As a whole, the leadership pathway truly supplied me with the tools to thrive as a clinic director, and the necessary training to better serve my patients and coworkers.
