At Alliance, we want to be intentional in how we recognize and reward the many hard-working and successful team members at our partner clinics throughout the country. Whether through providing quality care as a clinic or exemplifying our mission, vision, and values each day you come to work, your achievements deserve to be celebrated. To do this, we have four categories of awards and recognitions that you’ll see announced throughout the year:
- Clinic of the Month: Celebrating the clinic that excels in delivering exceptional patient care and operational excellence. The winning clinics will receive an engraved plaque, branded apparel to showcase their achievement, and bragging rights.
- Distinguished Clinician of the Year: Honoring clinicians who embody clinical excellence and patient-focused care. Winners enjoy a sponsored weekend in Chicago for you and an adult guest and swag prize package.
- FOC of the Month: Recognizing the Front Office Coordinators (FOCs) who ensure smooth operations and make our patients feel welcome. Winners will receive a gift card.
- Best of the NPS and Google Review: Weekly recognition in our newsletter for those achieving outstanding patient satisfaction scores and reviews. Winners will also receive a gift card.
Clinic of the Month
Each month, we’ll highlight the success of our top-performing clinic based on a comprehensive set of factors. Winning clinics will be shouted out in our newsletter, receive “Clinic of the Month” swag for all team members, have their clinic engraved on our Alliance Circle of Excellence plaque at Central Services, and receive the Clinic of the Month plaque to display in the office.
This award comes down to providing excellent care across many areas. Criteria for Clinic of the Month include:
- Customer satisfaction (NPS)
- Gross margin %
- New patient wait time
- Visits per full time employee per day
- Eval +2
Distinguished Clinician of the Year
Our annual recognition of our top clinicians across the country comes with a weekend trip with lodging, food, entertainment, and travel costs covered by Alliance for our recognized clinicians and their +1s. We evaluate these individuals based on four criteria:
- Skilled units per visit
- Cancelation %
- Visits per full time employee per day
- Customer satisfaction (NPS)
Stay tuned during Q1 of each year to see who our top 15 PT/OTs and 5 PTA/OTAs for the previous calendar year. In addition to their weekend celebration, winners will also be recognized for the year as a Distinguished Clinician.
Front Office Coordinator of the Month
We know that success in physical therapy starts the moment our patients walk in the door. To recognize the extraordinary effort of our front office staff, we will choose a front office coordinator of the month each month, who will receive a gift card in addition to being recognized in that month’s newsletter.
Anyone working in our partner clinics can nominate a front office coordinator they think deserves recognition to become eligible for this award.
Best of the NPS
It’s not just clinic metrics and nominations that can get you rewarded for your effort! Our marketing team regularly collects recent Google reviews and NPS submissions for weekly recognition in the marketing newsletter. If you’re the subject of a particularly glowing review that we feature, you’ll see your name in the newsletter and receive a $25 Amazon gift card. It’s one more reason to encourage your patients to fill out these critical reviews!

Scores for Clinic of the Month and nominations for FOC of the Month are monitored constantly to make sure we always notice exceptional effort. We hope our framework of recognition encourages people not only to strive for their personal best, but also to celebrate and lift up those around them in the workplace.
